Eyelash Extensions & False Eyelashes

Applying false eyelashes is an art,
but with some patience and practice, false eyelash application is something you can do at home.
Here are some tips to putting on fake eyelashes.
Along with your eyelashes and glue, you'll need tweezers and a magnifying
mirror.
To better conceal the eyelash band, apply some eyeliner before beginning the
application process. Then start applying the individual lashes before the strip lashes (you'll get the
harder part over first).
Pick up the eyelashes using a pair of
tweezers, as you'll need a steady hand during this process, and the tweezers help. Apply glue to the
false eyelashes and wait a few seconds before applying (inceases the stickiness of the glue for easier
application).
Gently press the lashes with glue as close as possible to your own eyelashes, for a
more "natural" look. Work from the outside of the eye to the inside. After the glue sets, you can use a
curler, apply mascara, etc.
Is there a downside to False Eyelashes?
If you don't have practice or patience, applying false eyelashes or eyelash
extensions can be tedious and frustrating. If you're short on time or want a more natural look without
the hassles and expense, I suggest an eyelash conditioner.
Up until a few years ago, I never realized that there was such a solution as an
eyelash conditioner. These products apply just like a mascara (in seconds) and are way less
irritating to your eyes.
Unlike with traditional fake eyelashes,
conditioned lashes allow you to lead an active lifestyle without worries - and still
with gorgeous lashes 24 hours a day. And as you may have guessed, eyelash conditioner actually
strengthens or conditions your lashes. If you've used false eyelashes or extensions, you know
that over time they weaken your own lashes.
